ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kelly is an award winning hair and makeup artist and has 13 years experience and can confidently achieve all styles from natural, to glam to vintage and alternative. Her passion for the industry ensures she stays on top of new trends and styles and maintains an up to date makeup kit. Kelly is also experienced in airbrush makeup. she prides herself on bespoke makeup and hair to suit the clients needs, she is friendly and provides exceptional service. Kelly is certainly an individual with all her tattoos and usually colourful hair, her skillset spreads wider to also achieve creative makeups and face paints which are perfect for hen parties, Red Carpets and ocassions.

bEAUTY BIO

Kellys career kick started 13 years ago with her first love of makeup, work experience with brides, special occasions and  glam makeups. Kelly has been apart of photoshoots for lingerie catalogues ,music videos for up and coming artists, runway fashion shows for Alexander McQueen and some tv assisting work for the BBC . Kelly has assisted artists on the Paul O'Grady live show for the itv2, and also doing some makeup for stunt work for Sky Atlantis. Recent high profile work was to do creative makeup for the Jonathan Ross halloween party at his own home. Kellys has worked on 3 films that are released on amazon prime as which she was credited as the makeup artist. In addition Kelly has worked internationally abroad in Ibiza, Ireland, France and in Portugal. Kelly also has a thrill for teaching makeup at her studio as she is always buzzed about makeup and also proudly likes to share her skills. While always up-skilling herself on new courses.

There are so many reasons why i love my job, the main reason has to be because it can really transform a clients mood, and almost give them a new alter ego or a sense of empowerment and self love. if i give them a pick me up after they have had a makeover, then i feel full job satisfactory. But not only that it also helps me and my mood, its fun to do and at times challenging, it keeps me on my toes, and its hard work, but the rewards of making someone feel better, prettier, younger are just so buzzing and euphoric at times. i'm often left in awe of makeup transformations and i think were really blessed and lucky we can use makeup to enhance ourselves.

"wow this is a really tough question lol,, i like so many! - id have to say,,, MAC eyebrow pen. it creates amazing fine line strokes to imitate faux hair. perfect for those soft glam brows where they look fuller but natural."
